Founders’ Note

For a long time, we were willing participants in the cycle that defines so much of modern skincare — buying into promises, layering products and chasing results that always seemed just out of reach. Like many people, we found ourselves questioning what our skin needed and why finding something we could truly trust felt so difficult.

At some point, we stepped back and started looking at skincare differently. Not through the lens of what was easiest to market, but through what actually goes into making a product worth using. We began paying closer attention to formulations, manufacturers, ingredients, processes and the standards behind them.

That became the foundation of Chèr. Not a brand philosophy created in a boardroom, but a shared belief that the work behind a product matters more than the noise around it.

Every product we formulate is held to a standard we would apply to ourselves: What is actually in it? Why is it there? How has it been made? Does it stand up to scrutiny? And most importantly, is it something we would genuinely choose to use ourselves?

We believe the relationship people have with skincare is deeply personal. You put something on your skin every day and trust that the people behind it have made the right decisions on your behalf.

That trust is something we take seriously.

Chèr is our way of putting that judgement into every product we create — precise percentage of actives in the formulation, the expertise and the work that happens long before a product reaches your shelf.
